Am I in the right place?

This article provides instructions on how to join specific communities or change hubs within the Startup Space platform.

Welcome to Startup Space! When you sign up through the main registration page, Startup Space will place you in the nearest open community as indicated by your location. If you are looking for a specific community, simply follow the steps below:
  1. Sign into your Startup Space account.
  2. Navigate to the home page.
  3. Got to the upper left land corner of your screen and click the drop down menu next to 'Hub'. You will see the name of the hub you are a part of as well as options to 'Change Hub' or 'Join a New Hub'.
  4. Click on 'Change Hub' and then into the dropdown to view the communities you are currently a part of. If you find the community you are looking for, simply select it from the list, and then click 'Submit'.
  5. If you did not find the community you are looking for, click 'Join a New Hub'.
  6. On the next page, enter the location where you’d like to find a community, then click 'Search'. This will pull up any visible communities within that radius.
  7. You may have one of two options to join a community: 'Join Now' and 'Request to Join'. If a community shows 'Join Now', clicking the button will grant you instant access to that community. If a community shows 'Request to Join', clicking the button will send a request to the community moderators who will have to approve your request to join.
Once a request has been approved, please follow steps #1-#4 to navigate to your new community.
