# When should I use the intake form versus the lead form?

## This article guides you on when to use the intake form versus the lead form based on your relationship with the client.

- #### The **intake form** is for clients who you have formed a relationship with and are ready to receive services from the SCALE Network.
- #### The **lead form** is a way for new clients to express interest in learning more about the SCALE Network to see how you can support them in their entrepreneurial journey. This is a great form to use in your marketing and on your website. Use the lead form instead of the intake form on your websites and other public-facing touchpoints.
